Description
To mark the 150th anniversary of its founding, the Lefkada Philharmonic Society held a concert at the “PALLAS” theater in Athens on 16-12-2000, with Gerasimos Messinis as Chief Musician, achieving great success.
This particular concert was the culmination of a series of events for the 150 years since the founding of F.E.L. This concert took place following a decision of the Board. of F.E.L. in collaboration with the Federation of Lefkada Attica and the Lefkada Studies Society.
This concert was attended by more than 1500 people, among them the political leadership of our island, the then co-mayor of Ilioupolis as well as the members of the unions of Lefkada of Athens.
ERT had broadcast the concert live and had also undertaken its recording on CD which you can listen to below.
