Hellenikon Odeon Chapter (Hellenic Conservatory)

Since October 1997 and in collaboration with the Hellenic Conservatory, new perspectives are created for the students of Lefkas Philarmonic. They are finally able to attend official wind and percussion training programs in order to obtain a degree, diploma, and all that by paying minimum tuition.

The first degrees were awarded in 2005 as follows: from the trumpet class with teacher Mr. Gerasimos Messinis to the student Ioannis Lazaris and from the bassoon class with teacher Mr. Odysseas Basios to the student Stergios Soulaidopoulos. In 2007 Ioannis Lazaris also obtained the trumpet diploma. Then in 2008 from the trombone / tuba class with teacher Themistoklis Messini the student Konstantinos Zaverdinos was awarded the tuba degree and in 2014 from the flute class of Mrs. Aglaia Aravani the flute degree was awarded to the student Evridiki Grapsa.

The cooperation of Lefkas Philarmonic with the Hellenic Conservatory still continues, with the ultimate goal and purpose of the development of a Music School in Lefkada, recognized by the state, that will provide state degrees and diplomas.
