Department of Theory

Music theory is the study of the practices and possibilities of music.

Our first concern is to get acquainted with the notes or otherwise the “letters” of music. Then the students are taught the values of the sounds, the time, the measures, the musical scales, etc.

So little by little the apprentices acquire the ability to read a piece of music. Along with learning the theory, students are taught the technique of the musical instrument they have chosen, thus combining theory with practice!
